Yukari Sensei keeps a small parlour where the lanterns never go out. People find her when they are standing between two doors, carrying something quietly, or simply wishing someone would listen. She reads the evening in paper slips, painted cards and the old calendar of Japan, and she speaks the way a kind teacher speaks: softly, and only what you can bear to hold.
Sensei (先生) means teacher, and it is also how Japanese people respectfully address someone they go to for guidance: a doctor, a mentor, a master of an art. Here it means a wise, warm guide. You can simply say "Yukari Sensei".
She will never say what must be. She only holds up a lantern and shows what may be favoured. The path stays yours.
Every reading closes with one small thing to carry into the day: a message sent, a drawer tidied, a slow walk under the evening sky.
Even the shadowed cards come softly. Where others see a warning, she sees a season of change, or a time to rest.
Readings are for reflection and enjoyment. For health, money or legal matters, she will always point you to a professional.
Her nightly slip of paper. From great blessing to future blessing, each carries one small step.
One card from the dark, turned gently.
